Jeanie & Jimmy | Part 1

Jimmy & Jeanie are such a fun couple! They came to me, slightly bruised, from their previous wedding coordinator. I could tell they were leery to start the planning/design process from scratch but I promised them a few things - this would be FUN, we could do A LOT with their budget and it would be FUN!

They jumped on board and never looked back. We had a blast planning and designing! Every time I talked to Jeanie I could hear her bursting at the seams with joy and excitement. The big day arrived and it did not disappoint! It was gorgeous and filled with love and joy.

I'm so excited to attend The Academy for Planners + Designers in San Francisco this weekend! It is sure to be a jam packed 3.5 days filled with inspiration, eye candy and knowledge. The best part is I'm going with one of my best friends in the whole wide world, LC, who is the planner at the Bald Head Island Club.

I got word today that one of our summer weddings is on stands now! You can find us in Southern Weddings Magazine Winter 2010 issue.

The featured couple is Chris & Mary Curry. I know I'm always talking about how much I enjoy this couple and that couple...but I really love my clients. I've been fortunate over the years to have couples that I really connect with and they become family to me. Chris and Mary are definitely in that group.

Stellar Events teamed up with Salt Harbor Designs to give Mary & Chris the best of both worlds - coordinating (SE) and design (SHD). I always enjoy working with the team at Salt Harbor and know their work will be perfection! Mary chose her color palette and caterer; from there we handled everything in between.

Southern Weddings Magazine, one of my absolute favorites, is featuring one of our weddings today on their blog! Check it out here!

Nicole and Danny are one of the most creative and fun loving couples I've ever met. When it came to designing their wedding, they were not afraid to break out of the box and I love that! Nicole had a solid vision for her day - wooden tables, more candles than flowers, lots of fun, and most importantly a focus on her wedding ceremony. After all, that's what a wedding is all about right?!

Here are a few of my favorite shots. Rachel Barker of Millie Holloman Photography did a bang up job getting every single detail of the day. We worked closely with Jennifer of Salt Harbor Designs on the floral. If I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times - Jenn is AH-MAZING! The to die for cake was done by one of my favorite ladies, Nicki MacRae, of Nicki's Cakes. A very special thank you to each of these vendors who always produces top of the line work. Each one is a joy to work with.

If this doesn't give you a little peek into just how much fun Danny & Nicole are, then I don't know what does! We had a blast working with you two and wish you a lifetime of happiness...and fun!
